Groups Explained! Empty Groups Explained!

Post by Jackie Shaw Thu Apr 23, 2015 8:07 pm

Here we have several groups, and, having that, we figure that might be a bit confusing, so we've put together a helpful guide to help explain what the groups are so you hopefully can have an easier time knowing which group your darling character fits into. If you're still confused, please feel free to message me!

The Resistance: The Resistance is doing as it is so called: resisting. They're fighting for fair treatment of the citizens, a thing that the Corporation doesn't support. Their symbol is a black and red pendant or pin, a thing the lovely Phillip Hatter came up with for them all. They certainly aren't fighting an easy war, but who'd fight it if they didn't? A fire doesn't become a fire unless it started with a spark, after all.

The Corporation: The Corporation is nothing short of the government of the city. They set the rules and expect everyone else to follow them, although they definitely show much favor upon the city's high, mighty, powerful, rich, and elite. If you don't... The punishments are far from light. Even civil disobedience can be countered by a heavy punishment. There is also rumors that they're kidnapping their own citizens... For what, no one is exactly fond of saying, but it does happen... That great evil isn't just a bedtime story to frighten silly children into behaving.

Criminals: These are your typical criminals. They waste no time on the allegiances that the members of the Rebels and the Corporation do, although the Corporation has more issues with them than the Rebels. They're typically out for their own gain, but, in general, they're the common criminals you think of - everyone from thieves to guns for hire that don't work for someone else are simply hired and move on after the job's complete.

Military: Yes, of course the corporation has put together a military force! They act as the city's police force, really. If you go against the Corporation and its views, the Military members are the ones that are going to come after you. And believe the experienced Resistance members when they tell you that these boys, and gals, are cold and relentless in their work.

Citizens: These are the people of the city that take no direct allegiance, or, if they do, that's not their main occupation. These characters are people like doctors, shop keepers, and the various other people that populate the city and are caught in the crossfire of the conflict that is the fate of their city.

Incomplete Characters: While this is not an official group you should use when filling out your character's application, if you are doing a WIP app, your character will be placed into this group until you have finished your app and we can place your character into the proper group.
